Publishers manage a wide range of inventory: books with multiple editions and fixed prices, merchandise, and promotional materials, often spread across multiple warehouses and fulfilment partners such as CB. Accurate stock management is essential, as inventory levels directly affect critical processes such as royalty calculations and printing orders.

Reliable Inventory Control

The Zeno Inventory Management module supports the full inventory workflow from stock registration to fulfilment and purchasing. By centralizing inventory data, Zeno provides clear insight into product availability and logistics operations.

Stock management and product control

Zeno provides a complete inventory administration with real-time insight into stock levels and inventory valuation. The system supports both individual articles and bundled products with varying prices (such as changes in VVP). Inventory can also be linked to other modules, such as subscriptions (premiums) and publications (royalties), ensuring stock data is connected to operational processes.

Fulfilment and order processing

Zeno supports the sale and fulfilment of physical, digital, and print-on-demand products. Orders can be processed individually or in bulk, with delivery triggered after payment when required. Warehouse operations can be streamlined using our in-house developed barcode scanners for order picking, while integrations with partners such as CB and EDG ensure efficient distribution. Webshops such as Magento or Shopify can connect through the standard Zeno API. Returns are processed automatically, updating both financial records and stock levels.

Zeno supports procurement workflows including purchase orders, replenishment suggestions, and stock registration when new inventory is received. Teams always have real-time insight into stock levels per warehouse and product, as well as reports on sales, inventory value, and stock turnover. Additional views such as inventory lists, article history, and performance reports help publishers manage inventory efficiently.
