When a visitor opens an article, Zeno's paywall checks whether:

The user has an account
The account is linked to an active subscription
That subscription offers access to the requested content

Access is granted based on the commercial rules that are managed in Zeno.

If a visitor does not yet have an account or an active subscription, the paywall can activate conversion flows, such as signing up for a newsletter or offers for digital subscriptions. Zeno then takes care of the entire order process and stores all customer and subscription data securely.
